Being impossible to expand in hight the hotels located on Rome 's centre grow by buying near by apartments and transforming them in luxury suites.
The Mozart Hotel is located in Via de Greci 23/b which connects Via del Corso (one of Rome 's main Streets) and Via del Babuino (connects the People's Square (Piazza del Popolo) with Spain's Square (Piazza de Spagna). The hotel has parking space available for an extra fee.
We were accommodated in one of Mozart Hotel's suits located on a third floor on Via di Rippeta 70 near August's Mausoleum (Masoleu di Augusto). Currently there is no working elevator, but there is an ongoing installation of a new one.
The apartment has one bedroom with a bathroom, one living room with a sofa bed and one tiny kitchen (see photos).
Both the bedroom and the living room are equipped with a LCD Television, a DVD player satellite receiver with 800 channels, 100 radios and Video-on-Demand. The Bed Sofa is uncomfortable (as all bed sofas are), nevertheless it is possible to spend a good night sleep.
The apartment has the disadvantage that it is impossible to go to the bathroom without passing by the bedroom which renders the suite unpractical for two couples travelling together.
Breakfast is included in the form of a daily refilled fridge with yoghurts, milk, fruit juices and by having toasts and patisseries at your disposition. The kitchen is equipped with a little oven, a stove, washing machine, and coffee machine, missing only the microwave. The dish cleaning is courtesy of the hotel staff.
All of these features make the Hotel Mozart's Elite Apartments ideal for a couple travelling with kids, extremely well communicated and much cheaper (547€ for 3 nights) than the 4 star equivalent for 4 persons.
